Problem
Whitebox helps brands and manufacturers win more sales and reduce costs through its ecommerce marketplace and fulfillment platform, but as a company built on technology and expertise, it needed its brand communications, often a customer's first touchpoint, to clearly and credibly convey that value.
Challenge
Email, as one of the most frequent and visible forms of brand communication, needed to feel consistently branded while also presenting information in a way that was easy to scan and digest, ensuring audiences could quickly find the most important details without wading through dense content.
Solution
As the person overseeing brand development and execution at Whitebox, I designed email communications using a top-down approach to information design, placing the most important topic at the top with supporting details below. This created a consistent, organized, and branded experience that made communications clearer and more effective for our audiences.
