Overview
As Whitebox expanded its ecommerce marketplace and fulfillment platform, the company needed a scalable visual system that could communicate complex products and services consistently across blogs, website content, sales materials, email campaigns, and marketing collateral. The goal was to create a recognizable visual language that made content easier to navigate while strengthening the overall brand experience.
Process
I developed a modular illustration system that paired custom graphics with color-coded content categories, creating a framework that could be applied across a wide range of marketing and educational materials. The system established clear visual cues that helped users quickly identify subject matter while maintaining consistency across blog posts, product pages, presentations, email campaigns, and sales collateral. The illustrations were designed as a reusable asset library, allowing teams to efficiently create new content without requiring custom graphics for every initiative. This approach ensured brand consistency while reducing production time and increasing flexibility across channels.
Challenges
One of the primary challenges was communicating complex ecommerce, logistics, fulfillment, and marketplace concepts in a way that felt approachable and engaging. The content covered a wide range of topics, making it difficult for users to quickly understand where they were within the ecosystem and how different services connected.
